A prominent case in Kern County, California, first brought the issue of day care sexual abuse to the forefront of the public awareness, and the issue figured prominently in news coverage for almost a decade. The Kern County case was followed by cases elsewhere in the United States as well as Canada, New Zealand, Brazil, and various European countries.

On October 22, 1992, Judy Cornett's son, Jason was abducted, brutally raped and left for dead, but by the grace of God, her son’s life was spared. This was a major turning point for Judy and her family, a nightmare, which became a reality.

Now she has become a self made vigilante, and spends a lot of her time hunting down sex offenders, and not spending enough time with her own son, who is not in prison for attempted murder and burglary.

And in the next video is Barbara Ochoa, who goes by the alias PetraLuna. I am not sure if she is a sexual abuse survivor, but would not doubt it. She has attacked many people online, and a law suit is still in the process, due to her harassing one woman (Jan Kruska) who runs Operation Awareness.

Homelessness

Due to the draconian nature of the sex offender registry and residency restrictions, many people are becoming homeless due to not being hired for ANY jobs, and turned a way from housing or due to the residency "buffer" zones.

Until legislature listen to the experts and facts, this will continue to be a growing problem across the country.
